"Dislocation" is screened in new locations

We The People Media are proud to have participated in the creation of "Dislocation," a film about the closure of a building in the Robert Taylor Homes development authored by Sudhir Venkatesh, the Columbia sociologist and We The People Media board member. "Dislocation" educates its audiences about the realities of life in public housing and the consequences of the current, ongoing relocation of public housing families. Screenings have been held at the University of Chicago Law School, Little Black Pearl and the Fourth Presbyterian Church, Congregation Hakafa in suburban Glenview as well as at the Alliance Francaise and other locations.
