"Fighting For Air" On January 17, 2007, staff co-sponsored a public forum to discuss sociologist Eric Kleinenberg's new book, "Fighting for Air" with the Public Square and Jane Addams Hull House. Kleinenberg discussed how consolidation among media corporations left rural families as well as low-income urban residents with fewer media options. More than 100 people attended the event, which also included a discussion on Residents' Journal's work.
